Description
Angels Loft is a 350 m² tropical residence designed as a retreat deeply connected to nature, calm, and the spiritual dimension of dwelling. From the very beginning, the project aimed to create much more than a house: it was envisioned as an experience of peace, shelter, and contemplation open to the landscape. The architecture unfolds through generous roofs, transparent spaces, deep overhangs, and an open composition that allows light, breeze, and distant views to become an essential part of everyday life. The proposal incorporates angel sculptures placed at the cardinal points of the house, symbolically reinforcing the ideas of protection, balance, and energy. Its material palette strengthens this warm and serene identity through bamboo eaves, natural teak wood, and other tropical finishes that bring texture, nobility, and a strong sense of belonging to the setting. The result is an architecture that conveys serenity from the very first approach: a home designed to slow down, breathe, contemplate, and feel safe within the landscape.

Concept
Angels Loft was conceived as a tropical sanctuary: a home designed to inhabit nature through calm, silence, and contemplation. The proposal understands the residence as a place of emotional and spiritual balance, where each space opens toward the landscape while also conveying protection, shelter, and permanence.
Spirituality and symbolism
One of the project’s most meaningful gestures is the incorporation of angel sculptures at the cardinal points of the house. More than a decorative element, these pieces build a symbolic narrative of protection, guidance, and energy, reinforcing the intention for the home to be perceived as a safe, serene, and spiritually connected place.
Tropical architecture
The house adopts a distinctly tropical language through generous roofs, deep overhangs, open spaces, and a continuous relationship between interior and exterior. The transparency of its facades allows vegetation, changing light, and distant views to become part of everyday life, creating a way of living that feels light, open, and deeply connected to its surroundings.
Materiality
Materiality was essential in shaping the atmosphere of the project. Bamboo eaves bring texture, shade, and a warm tropical expression, while natural teak wood introduces nobility, depth, and permanence. Combined with other tropical finishes, these materials allow the architecture to feel authentic, sensory, and fully in tune with the surrounding landscape.
Strategies
- Generous overhangs for shade, climate protection, and passive comfort
- Open facades for natural ventilation and visual connection to the landscape
- Use of bamboo and natural teak to reinforce tropical warmth
- Integration of angel sculptures as symbols of protection and balance
- Spaces oriented toward contemplation, tranquility, and a sense of shelter
