Concept
The project was conceived as a creative retreat immersed in the tropical landscape. The architecture aims to provide an intimate and calm place for clay work, handmade experimentation, and daily creative practice surrounded by vegetation, natural light, and warm materials.
Spatial approach
The studio is resolved as a compact volume visually open to the outside, allowing a constant relationship with the garden and the natural setting. The light roof and its generous overhangs create a clean architectural presence while protecting the interior from sun and rain.
Strategies
- Cross ventilation for passive comfort
- Generous roof overhangs for shade and climate protection
- Direct relationship between interior and landscape
- Abundant natural light for handmade work
- Warm material palette with handcrafted and organic details
Materiality
The proposal combines a restrained architectural base with handcrafted elements. Neutral tones, glass transparency, and wood or natural-fiber filters bring warmth, texture, and a sensitive identity aligned with the creative use of the space.
